We are delighted to welcome you to the website of the World Reformed Fellowship!
The WRF exists to provide networking links among evangelical Reformed Christians world-wide. Our goal is that, through this networking, "the strengths of some will become the strengths of all in the service of Jesus Christ."
If you are already a member of the WRF, you may login to the members' section of this website. If you are not already a member, we hope that what you see will encourage you to consider joining (and information about how to do this may be found under the "About the WRF").
In late September and early October, the WRF sponsored two very different but equally valuable conferences - one was held just outside Pretoria in South Africa and the other was held in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, in the United States. Each was organized by a WRF Regional Board.
The conference organized by the African Regional Board focused on what it means to be an evangelical and Reformed Christian on a continent as plagued by health and social concerns as is Africa. One of the papers delivered at that conference appears in the "Articles of Interest" section of this website and further materials from the conference will be posted soon. At the end of that conference, the delegates issued a series of statements in which they sought to define, from their perspective, what it does mean to be an evangelical Reformed Christian in Africa in the year 2008. While this document is not an official pronouncement of the World Reformed Fellowship, it does represent the thinking of a significant number of our members and it is, therefore, of great importance. Therefore, the document is posted on the WRF website under the "News" section of the homepage.
The conference organized by the North American Regional Board focused on training women to teach the Bible. Nearly 100 women from all over the United States (some from as far away as Texas and Wisconsin) participated. The WRF provided small scholarships to women who wanted to attend the conference but were unable to afford the cost of doing so. To get a sense of what the conference accomplished in the lives of five women (two Americans, two Nigerians, and one Chinese), check out the reports which are posted as one item under "News" on the homepage of this website. Women who think they would like to participate in next year's conference should save the weekend of October 2 - 3, 2009, and should get their names on the e-mail list for next year's conference by sending their contact information to the conference Registrar, Mrs. Diana Frazier - dsfrazier@msa.com .
Once again, welcome to the WRF!
