VIRTUAL CAMPUS ALUMNI SNIPPETS FROM THE RTS VIRTUAL FACEBOOK PAGE
Trevor Johnson (MAR 2004) wrote: "I graduated in 2004, but love to read theses and meet new folks. We are serving in SE Asia if anyone is interested in coming to join us - the fields are white (actually yellow in the local language), but the laborers are few. P.S. I did my RTS education mostly while serving as an active duty army officer. I deployed to the middle east with Berkhof in my rucksack. If I can do RTS while deployed, anyone can." You can read more about the Johnsons on their blog by clicking here.

Rob Mitchell (MAR 2008) wrote: "I'm the newest grad of RTS Virtual. Prior to graduating, I used to say that I was in 'year seven of a two year masters program.' With a full time job, three kids and church activities it took awhile, but it can be done. If I can, anyone can."

STUDENT SNIPPETS FROM THE RTS VIRTUAL FACEBOOK PAGE
Jason Jolly of Wichita, KS, wrote: "I am down the final stretch - only have nine more hours left before I begin my thesis. With a wife, three kids, full-time job, and serving as the "part-time" music pastor at church it's taken me much longer than originally anticipated but it's been worth it. My family and I live in Wichita, KS. Studying at RTS has been a terrific experience. I've recommended it to several friends in ministry and folks in our church."

Sharon Herbitter of Millbrook, AL, wrote: "I just started (on September 9th) my first class at RTS Virtual (Gospels and Acts). I'm loving the challenge so far. I attend a wonderful PCA church in Millbrook, Alabama. I have no idea what God wants me to do with this knowledge, but I'm up for anything!"

PASTOR IN THE UNITED KINGDOM ENCOURAGED BY RTS ITUNES LECTURES
Rev. Trevor Hunt of Orkney in the United Kingdom shared the following comments by email...."I've just finished listening to Dr. Frank James' lectures on History of Christianity I and II while walking the dog! These have formed a great series and I want to express thanks for Dr. James' presentation and style and to RTS for making this series available. I think the dog must have thought I was barking mad when I would speak comments and responses out of the blue and I am sure she is grateful for my inattention to some of her misdemeanours while I was listening so intensely to the lectures! I am now about to embark on Dr. Packer's History of the Puritans. I met Dr. Packer many years ago when I was a young man in a church in England and found tremendous instruction and profit from the printed booklets of the Puritan and Reformed Conferences in Westminster Chapel with Dr. Packer and Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones."

VIRTUAL CAMPUS ORIENTATION SEMINARS
Virtual M.A. (Religion) students are required to complete an Orientation Seminar on an RTS campus near the beginning of their degree work. However, the Orientation Seminar is much more than just a requirement. Orientation is an invaluable opportunity for students to visit the RTS/Charlotte campus, hear lectures from RTS professors, visit top-notch theological libraries, meet with personal advisors from the RTS/Virtual staff, and network with other students. To register, contact Alice Hathaway, Virtual Registrar at 800-227-2013 ext. 235.

Upcoming Orientation Seminar Dates :

October 27 -29, 2008 - Monday, 7 pm - Wednesday, 5 pm.
