We are delighted to welcome you to the website of the World Reformed Fellowship!

The WRF exists to provide networking links among evangelical Reformed Christians world-wide.  Our goal is that, through this networking, "the strengths of some will become the strengths of all in the service of Jesus Christ."

If you are already a member of the WRF, you may login to the members' section of this website.   If you are not already a member, we hope that what you see will encourage you to consider joining (and information about how to do this may be found under the "About the WRF").

In early May, the WRF was contacted by a senior administrator of the Jonathan Edwards Center (JEC) at Yale University. This administrator is himself a member of the WRF which means that he is personally committed to the WRF statement on Scripture and to one of the Confessions of Faith which the WRF recognizes.

The JEC administrator indicated that the Center wanted to meet with representatives of the WRF to discuss possible cooperative projects between the Center and the WRF. The reason for their interest in the WRF is the fact that the digitzed works of Edwards (including all of his extant sermons!) are now receiving an average of 27,000 unique hits per month and the majority of those hits are coming, not from academics, but from pastors and other ministry leaders, many of whom share Edwards's theological convictions . . . and this is exactly the group the WRF serves!

Dr. Craig Higgins, Chair of the North American Regional Board of the WRF, and I met with representatives of the JEC in New York on May 11, and very specific and exciting progress is already being made toward realizing cooperation between the WRF and the JEC, which cooperation will include, but not be limited to, the creation of online courses on Edwards and the use of WRF member institutions to deliver those courses worldwide. Representatives of the JEC will then attend the WRF General Assembly in Scotland to share further details with those attending the Assembly.

The first step in the process of creating the online courses was to establish a WRF Advisory Committee which will work with the JEC on the project.  As of June 28, 2009, the following individuals have been named to and have agreed to serve on this Advisory Committee:  Dr. Joel Beeke (President of Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary and a minister in the Heritage Netherlands Reformed Church),  Dr. Davi Gomez (President of Andrew Jumper School of Theology and a minister of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil),  Dr. Craig Higgins (Senior Pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church [PCA] in Rye, New York and Chair of the North American Regional Board of the WRF], Dr. Frank James (Provost of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a minister of the Presbyterian Church in America),  Dr. Samuel Logan, (International Director of the World Reformed Fellowship and minister of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church), Dr. George Marsden (author of many works, including JONATHAN EDWARDS: A LIFE), Dr. K. Eric Perrin (Chairman of the Board of Directors of the World Reformed Fellowship and Senior Pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church [PCA] in Cherry Hill, New Jersey), and Dr. Ron Scates (Senior Pastor of Highland Park Presbyterian Church [PCUSA] in Dallas).

This is a PHENOMENAL opportunity for the WRF to accomplish its essential goal stated above - “that the strengths of some might become the strengths of all in the service of Jesus Christ.”

In October of this year, "Women in the Word: A Workshop" will offer another of its outstanding conferences designed to train women to teach Scripture.  Registrations are now being taken for the conference; the full brochure and registration materials may be found by following this link: c/document_library/get_file

Finally, 2010 is the year of the next WRF General Assembly, details of which (including online registration materials) can be accessed by clicking on the picture of Edinburgh right here on this page.  If you want to meet and learn from and worship and network with hundreds of other WRF members from around the world, plan now to be in Edinburgh, Scotland, from April 12 through April 15, 2010.

Once again, welcome to the WRF!
